    Regarding Downtime and Pre-treatment

There is some slight swelling expected in the eye and lip procedure that can last for approximately 2 days. You may exercise or work as normal, just expect to have the same amount of swelling you would have if you had really been crying the night before.

If you are prone to cold sores or fever blisters you may want to ask your family practice doctor for a prescription for Valtrex 500 mg BID and days #14 quantity. You would begin this prescription 3 days before your procedure, take it the day of your procedure and continue for three days after. This will prevent cold sores in the lip area. This is a normal pre-treatment medication for any lip procedure done in any medical office that performs Dermal Fillers, Chemical Peels or Permanent Makeup. It is a personal choice on whether or not you choose to pre-treat based on your previous experiences with cold sores or fever blisters.

You may ice after our procedure, if necessary, to reduce swelling and aid in healing. You would ice for 30 minutes the evening of your procedure and 30 minutes the morning after. Many clients do not need to ice because of the limited amount of swelling that they experience.

    Health & Safety Standards?

Rest assured the equipment used is the latest and most technologically advanced. Like medical equipment, permanent cosmetic equipment is safe by design against cross contamination. Fully disposable ‘single use only’ applicator cartridges are used, for your complete safety and peace of mind.

All equipment selected and used by Rebecca is fully inspected by the Health and Safety executive and complies with all Health and Safety requirements.

    Frequently Asked

    FAQ

    Questions

    Why have Permanent Make-up?

Everyone wants to look the best they can, naturally. Think how convenient it would be to enjoy perfectly shaped eyebrows, wide-awake, pretty eyes and beautifully contoured lips, without the effort of time-consuming makeup rituals. All subtle, soft and perfectly in place with no smudging, no mess, no problem. With permanent makeup you have the confidence of knowing you look the best you can look, right round the clock.

Am I suitable for permanent makeup?

Most people are suitable for some form of permanent makeup. Rebecca herself will explore with you precisely each treatment, as well as expectations and any features you wish to correct or balance. From this discussion, Rebecca will recommend the specific procedures she believes will achieve the effects you want.

How long will Permanent Make-up last?

Permanent Make-up can last for many years, but this is dependent on several factors including skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle. Rebecca recommends a touch-up treatment every 2 to 3 years to maintain perfect results.

    Is Permanent Make-up safe?

Absolutely. All pigments are made of organic vegetable dyes that are specifically selected for their safe, non-toxic and hypo allergenic properties. They are trusted by technicians and cosmetic surgeons throughout the world. Ophthalmologists actually recommend eye procedures for women sensitive to conventional cosmetics.

    Does Permanent Make-up hurt?

The procedure is performed with your comfort in mind. For this reason, Rebecca applies an anesthetic gel prior to treatment to minimize discomfort.

What if I don’t like the result?

Rebecca takes great care to discuss treatments she knows will enhance your face or body the way you want it to. She takes so much time with this initial consultation, that no client has ever been unhappy with the end result. Numerous new clients have come to Rebecca requesting her to correct or improve treatments done elsewhere.

    Is Permanent Make-up expensive?

Compared to the time and money that is invested in conventional cosmetics, permanent cosmetics is both time and cost effective. The quality of service should guide your decision rather than price alone when considering any cosmetic procedure.

    What next?

Now that you have taken the time to view our site, the next step is to arrange a consultation. At the consultation you will receive a fully personalized analysis, which will take into account your individual skin undertones, hair and eye color. Rebecca will then discuss your desired look and explain how this can be achieved.

Initial treatments can take up to two hours to complete. Appointments are generally arranged in two stages spaced at 4 to 6 weeks apart; this allows for a safe, comfortable and gradual process.
